So, I had a quick flick round the new Tumblr beta site, quite interesting the things they're working on. I don't know how much of a hurry up Posterous has given them, but they've made some big moves in the right direction, and into areas I know the Posterous crew are moving too. Things like tags, post privacy levels, back dating, etc. Admittedly, I only had a quick play, and haven't read an official comprehensive list yet, but those seemed to be the big things for me. I guess the best thing was that those features are there now, and they're available in the main UI, unlike Posterous, which is sorely lacking in editing features on the web side. I know they're coming, let's hope it's not too long though. I'm getting bored switching back and forth :-)
